I’m forever losing money. Not really losing money in that way but – well – misplacing it … For some of us, it’s a mostly frustrating experience to have had money one day and the next, it’s not there.
Since I don’t carry my money in a money clip (do people still do that these days?) and I hate carrying money in a wallet (seems bulky to be carrying that and to put it somewhere), cash invariably goes in my pockets. The next trick is to get the cash from the pockets at night or from the gym bag or whatever place it has last been (if not spent already!).
It usually turns up somewhere, but sometimes I have to go back to the ATM and take out more new money before I find the old money.
But, for the first time, and this is historic, I have evidence of where it goes!
The following picture is not doctored in any way (you can tell, because I would have staged it differently).
I was playing pool with my sons on Thanksgiving and one them said, “Dad, why is there money in the dryer?” I looked and was amazed at the perfectly centered and visually odd view – so I had to take a picture. (That’s Jeremy in the background, it’s not me!!!)
