As part of my final 7&7 expeditions, I’d like to start fundraising money for worthy charities.  One of these is the Bridging the Digital Divide initiative. Microsoft will match dollar for dollar as part of their own philanthropic endeavors.

I’ve chosen Bridging the Digital Divide as one of the beneficiary charities because of the impact that it can have on society and people’s lives by empowering them no matter their economic status. My vision is aligned with other organizations who have the same goals. I feel very strongly about this since I have worked in technology my entire life and are fortunate for the opportunity to give back in a small way. My goal is to personally deliver 100’s of low-no cost laptops to deserving citizens and organizations.

No donations are being solicited or requested to fund my own endeavor – these will, as the other climbs and runs have been, will be self-funded.
