7 marathons. 7 continents. 7 years.

Monday March 7th – my birthday
On the way home!
First a bus ride to the airport. Messing around with airport taxes, excess luggage fees, change from dollars to pesos and vice versa. 3 hour flight from Ushuaia to BA, where we took a 45 minute bus ride to the International airport. Check in with Varig and almost immediate boarding to Sao Paulo after an hour or so.
I still felt so happy and so proud and so inspired with what I had accomplished and looked forward to the long flight in first class after using up my airline points.
A brilliant flight from Sao Paulo to Frankfurt, arriving Tuesday at 1400 and getting around 8 hours of sleep in a flat seat (upgrade to International First Class yay!) and eating too much again!
Now a 6 hour layover in Frankfurt, where I can catch up this diary, recharge some electronic batteries and get ready for the final leg tonight leaving at 22:00 to Singapore and Jakarta getting in at 1845 on Wednesday evening.
This has been, to put it lightly, a Journey of Discovery. It was a massive transition in my life in the midst of the biggest accomplishments to date. The next days and weeks would be difficult, and I was still far from “seven continents”, but it was a landmark trip and would love to go back one day!
