Paula at Namche Bazar

We made it to Namche Bazar!!!  YAY!!!  Here I am just below the lodge where we are tenting.  I just had pizza and apple pie for lunch, who could ask for more – oh and – a fairly warm shower!!  Feeling ok so far.

And of course, I’ve tried to pet every yak, dog, cow, cat, chicken I’ve seen, but the yaks are really not into that.  But I did find a dog that we fed in some lunch cafe and he followed us for MILES!!! Here he is on one of the suspension bridges, he was so cute!!!!!   Of course I want bring one to the summit but there are signs saying not to, but we’ll see ….

I miss all you guys.  Can’t wait to get back, it’s only 63-68 days depending on who’s counting :-)

Here’s a picture with Dan Mazur on the aiport runway at Kathmandu airport before taking off for Lukla.
